The Twilight Zone

A unit or two of blasterborn in venoms are certainly never a bad call. You have plenty of AI with all that poison, so the AT is a good addition.

Caltrops on the bikes are more AI that your list probably wont need. Right now you are depending on 3 ravagers, 4 raiders and 1 scourge squad to take out all the armor you need. Once the enemy is on foot then sure, should be good but any mech heavy army will own you.

Scourges are a bit meh with haywires, the lance weapons synergize with range and add some heavy damage for TEQ and MC's.

I would put splinter racks on every one of your kabbie gunboats since you are going that route.

Why not night shields on the ravagers?

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

yeah blasterborn do seem like a good idea, i just find when ever I field them in the past few games venom's dont last long enough.

The Caltrops are there because i play against a guard player, who runs a gunline, but now that hes thinking about going with veterans in chimera's i dont know if there going to be worth keeping around.

Alot of people told me that haywire blasters where good for tank hunting, I have found they work well, for now at least.

I agree with splinter racks on the raiders and night shields on the ravagers, they both sound like something i should have done from the start but i guess i over looked them the first few times.

Tanks For your help.

I'd drop the scourges for another reaver squad and give them all heat lances. Then you could throw in a haywyche squad or two in venoms and turbo boost them up with the reavers, which should ideally give you all the at you need including the ravagers to open up the majority of your opponents vehicles turn two so your gunboats can start unleashing their dakka.

Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.
