OP, GW tend to release a new edition around every 5-6 years so it'll be quite sometime before we see 7th edition 40k.

I honestly gave up and I firmly believe he's just trolling after seeing the threads he creates but since there seems to be one honest person with doubts, Nobody_Holme, might as well:

You must be talking about the new mini rulebook. It took them ages, but they realized people want a mini rulebook for sale separate from the edition's "noob" box.

And yeah, you probably didn't buy it when 5th was released.

He's probably referring to the new book currently advertised on the GW website.

The way I'm reading it, however, this has squat (hah!) to do with a new edition. It's simply a "lite" booklet with all the rules easily accessible, re-ordered and errata'ed for maximum reading efficiency, and missing all the fluff etc. from the much heavier/larger 6E core rulebook.

Nothing to discuss here.

They've already done 7th edition in March. 8th edition is due out this October. Fortunately we have 9th to look forward to in February!
