So I was watching Doctor Who and they revieled the villain for this particular episode, a large spider-like creature called "Racnoss" or rather the empress of the Racnoss but as soon as I saw her I was thinking "OH! There's a idea for a spider-style Greater Daemon of Khorne!" I was thinking of using a combination of the Beastman Ghorgon and the Goblin Arachnorok Spider. Basically take the upper body of the Ghorgon, join it to the body of the Arachnarok, add some spiky carapace to the upper body and build up some musculature along the torso where the bodies join so it's not such an abrupt change in body styles. If I add webbing between the legs I think I could get away with saying it jumps real high and then glides explaining how it would be a flying monsterous creature. Or perhaps I can use as a counts as Soul Grinder.

Here is an image of the Racnoss:

So.... thoughts?

Easily the best Dr.Who creature imho! And i think if you pulled it off it would look amazing Also just as a point, there is a racnoss action figure. they tend to go pretty cheap so it might be worth using that as a base and save yourself a few $$$. If i recall correctly its should be inscale with the gorgon?

It might be better off used as a soul grinder. The arachnorok model is huuuuge, way bigger than the normal base a bloodthirster comes on. I don't think even an oval base would fit it, and that's about as big as normal 40k bases get.
