So what happened to this guy? I haven't been able to read all the books yet but from what I read on Lexicanum, he was a Blood Angel Apothecary that gets possessed by some deamon calling itself the "Red Angel", the Deamon was apparently strong enough that it planned on taking over Sanguinius and openly said it would challenge Angron. I'm wondering if maybe the Red Angel is still kicking around during the 41st or if he got killed during the HH.

Just finished Fear to Tread which is where he's created (?). That was a pretty recent novel so I don't think its been covered yet.

The Demon Bound (The Red angel) says ''If the Primarch Angron wishes that name then he may challenge me for it. I deserve it more than he ever will.'' and a lot of the people there at the time seemed to agree with this including Horus.

I'm not so sure they agreed. More like everyone thought the idea of Angron and the Red Angel fighting it out over a name sounded like a decent way to contain both of those entities while hoping not to be anywhere around when the inevitable confrontation happened.

Crazy thought, could the Red Angel be a Primarch? Maybe that's why he got expunged he traded his mortality become a demon and the Big E banished his ass to the warp..... Maybe with the help of Angron?
Or, Red Angel gets used as enhancement talent to Angron

Nice idea, but no. The Horus Heresy series clearly states who the Red Angel is in the book 'Fear to Tread'
