Trying to make my WE army i will mostly be facing HE and Empire so here's hoping i did it right
Lord
Highborn Wild Rider, Great Stag, Armour of Fey, Spear of Twilight
Thinking of changing the Armour for Netlings
Heroes
Spellsinger lvl 2 Dispel scroll, Divination orb, Kindred Glamor, Unicorn
Noble Alter Bow of Loren, Arcane bodkins
Noble on Eagle Helm of the Hunt, Hail of doom arrows, Spear, Shield, Armor, Potion of Foolhardiness
Glade Guard 10 Musician x3
Dyads 8 x2
Special
Wild riders of Kurnous Musician, Standard Bearer, Hunter, x8 (Got some points left to give this a magic banner)
Tree kin 3
Rare
Eagles 2
Treeman
Would it be good to give the Riders and Flaming or Razor banner ? I know its a lot of points to sink into one until but the Highborn and the Lvl 2 are going in there

Hi,
the eagle noble greatly benefits from potions. depending on how many points you have left the foolhardiness potions is rather useful
i also use warhawk riders but be warned that they are actually utter crap ^^ i like the models so i field them but otherwise they are absolutely not worth it if you look at them only in the way of effectiveness.
treekin are a lot of points but they put out the hurt. however they can also die quite easily to magic or war machines. lore of life on the caster can help with that.
quite possible that you wont have enough power dice to fully utilize both spell caster. some people swear by two caster, idont ^^
also curious why you gave the lvl 4 an unicorn? would mean he would have to ride around alone, right? rather risky.
and from my experience dryads are stupid good. i would say the one unit in the army book which is under priced. if you can get the points (for example by kicking out hawk riders and the unicorn) get one or two units more.
would say that especially against empire you will need lore of life though. steam tanks are difficult to deal with so you need your treekin and treeman. but if they eat cannon balls you need to heal them.
good luck
p.s. remember to bring an additional forrest and to run away shamelessly when ever it suits your purpose ^^

Well on the potions I guess there in the BRB and not getting that back until Monday. On the Warhawks just like the Models same with treekin. This is to be my wife's army and saw a model could take one so that's it for that. I was going to give it orb and wand of wych Elm. Have to say yes really worried about cannons. Btw is here a point for the Bsb Here ?

actually if you play it right you might get along without a bsb.
try to pick only fights with dryads in woods = stubborn, dont fight with gladeguard etc. that plus the bsb effect which is only 12inch and an army where your try to outmaneuver your enemy and are most likely spread widely across the board... sometimes i bring one, sometimes i dont.

You NEVER leave home without a BSB. Even if you flee a charge, and it runs through your own level 4 bunker, the BSB is invaluable. And he is the best place for the Hail of Doom arrow as he will be kept out of combat due to his fragileness and importance Even Dwarves have BSBs, and they rarely take Leadership checks.

Question then is you have to give the Bsb a magic bow to get hail on it to wouldn't it be better to give it a Magic banner ?

Bow. Any and every time. The only magic banner in the list is the flaming banner on the big unit of glade guard.

The unit takes the flaming banner and that is the only magic banner in the list, the BSB takes Asyendi's Bane and the Hail of Doom Arrow.

The machine gun alter cannot be taken as a Noble i believe, as he has 55pts of magic items. Would it be such a bad idea to make the Wildriders into a deathstar, 'cause no one expects a wood elf deathstar! To do this you would drop the alter and add a second wildrider hero with dawnspear, because if you kill a single model your units resilience sky rockets (Hit on 5's instead of 4's means a lot less 5+ saves to make) and take Razor banner so they can target anything and come out on top.
I would replace armour of the fey for glittering scales, meaning that you are only hit on 6's netlings be damned! Then take the dragon helm simply for a better save and one of the ward saves and be done with it. I run this unit a lot in fun games and it really is fun. I charged it directly into a big WOC unit lead by there Lord, Lords challenged each other, hero killed a warrior forcing whole unit to hit on 5's, then wildriders rocked face killing off 6 of them (And horses then did 3!) and after my Lord KP'ed his lord, the Wildriders ran them down and over ran into knights, who they akso promptly slaughtered. Its a fun unit that i can only advise.

I tried building a wildriderstar. It is really difficult as you can't get the 3+ ward characters in there.

This list is illegal for two reasons:
1. You cannot have more than one magic item from each type, your wizard has two arcane items and your general has two magic armours.
2. Wild Rider characters can only have two types of magic items, a magic spear or magic light armour, this means he cannot have stone of the crystal mere.

I will edit that out and the points they cost but my. Wife wants at least a Dragon, Unicorn, Stag, Great Eagle For lords and if we get a corn on lord we don't need it on hero. also my thought is we need something for all the +1 armor we are going to fight in against empire

dwarfs tend to stick together and therefore benefit from the bsb. i am well aware that 'you have to bring a bsb' is a common dogma, but WE might as stated before get away without. most of all because you have to spread out as much as possible and if you fight hand to hand combats with your vulnerable units you did something wrong.
if you flee with your redirector trough your own unit then you set him up the wrong way
hail of doom arrow can be ( AFAIK) only taken if you have actually a bow. the bsb does not have a bow.
he can be a decent place for the flaming banner but then again now bow for him.
@bugaboo bsb with asyendis bane is an option but dont forget that hail of doom arrow does not benefit from the bows ability. in other words you pay 10 points for a single reroll which might hit yourself.

ALL Elves need BSBs. Even more than level 4s. I played WE a few times, and each time the BSB died, the game was lost.
As for the redirectors, a competent player with enough units can direct your flees.
The 2 armies that don't need BSBs are in fact Vampires and Tomb Kings, because they don't take LD checks.
