I like and have that mini - It least it looks like a monster rather than dire concep and execution (IMO) of the Centurions...........

Why did you remind me of those? I had blissfully forgotten until now.

Nah, not really. Grav weapons have bad range and their platforms are not the most reliable either (either because they are expensive or they can't take them en-masse). They are like glorified plasma weapons that can't kill light infantry and noticeably worse against vehicles.

You also going to tell me how awful Flamers are at killing heavy infantry or vehicles or how meltaguns are terrible at killing hordes? These are specialized weapons used to handle a specific target.

Eh, they already have several dreadnoughts i bet they redid the rules to make them viable again. Adding another would just be borderling Titan or another MC thats only labeled MC in the end because it sells more than walkers right now.

An ork with an idea tends to end with a bang.

So that's where they got the idea for nipple guns on the centurions.

Also I don't see the complaints. They didn't get a new MC, but they got a gun that's apparently decently priced and able to handle monstrous creatures. Besides, how many dred varients do you really want/need? Why not just ask for good rules on the current walkers instead?

I'm expecting an Imperial Knights supplement dedicated to GW's loyalist apologetics. Codex: White Knights "In the grim dark future, everything is fine."

"The argument is that we have to do this or we will, bit by bit,
lose everything that we hold dear, everything that keeps the business going. Our crops will wither, our children will die piteous
deaths and the sun will be swept from the sky."

I think I looks kind of cute AKA exactly what a carnafex shouldn't be. Also the design of the arms looks like it's attacks people by tickling them to death[which is an idea I hate].

I you want to continue this arguement well then I have about 3 whole pages of minis that make the centurions like like the FW Praetors.

I quite like the Centurians, they look pretty good to me. I'll be taking a few of those badboys. They look to me like real heavy infantry.

As far as I know the rumor was about a unit that was halfway between a Dreadnought and a terminator, which is the Centurions, to varying degrees of success. Unfortunately, they make me wonder why Space Marines ever field Terminators if they have "had Centurions all along" somewhere on the sidelines..........

and the centurion miniatures are average at worst.
Go haze yourself newbie.

The Screamer Killer was awesome.

Marneus Calgar is referred to as "one of the Imperium's greatest tacticians" and he treats the Codex like it's the War Bible. If the Codex is garbage, then how bad is everyone else?

Willing to bet centurions have some kind of limitation that termies dont, like SNP instead of relentless. Doesnt sound like much but keep in mind that means no more running or overwatch (as they already couldnt sweep).

Im curious what the extra armor does. Its obviously bigger and not a vehicle, closer to a tau stealth suit in design than anything else (though more armor instead of jetpacks). Does it add wounds or add toughness, or both? If it were me, i'd rather toughness. Multiwound T4 models dont mean much to me, thats why i rarely field MANz because almost every time their armor is pen'd theyre pasted anyway (plasma being the ONLY exception afaik, or rending. And usually plasma is massed enough to take out a large chunk if not the whole unit of MANz)

I'm sure something is different on the tabletop, but I'ma fluff guy and shoehorning these guys into the Space marine lore had better be something very awesome. Becuase if a Chapter can field these suits in any number compared to Terminators, they make Terminators obsolete. Who wouldn't rather storm a Space Hulk with a suit that has twice the melee and ranged capabilities of a terminator suit? Not to mention on the open battlefield, especially with twin lascannons.

I would have vastly preferred they add a "Devastator" option to existing Terminator squads, with either more heavy weapons per unit (maybe 4 with a sergeant), or a larger amount of types of heavy weapons available (like plasma cannons and multi-meltas), or even both. One of the largest abilities of a terminator suit is the ability to move and fire heavy weapons.

It would certainly fit with the existing fluff and model ranges better, as even Forgeworld has Terminators with other heavy weapons than the standard three.
