This is my first go at a 2000 point daemon list it, I went with a flying circus because I always wanted to run this army and now it's worth running!

I like Pink Horrors better than the PB's. I don't take as many Gifts on my DP's, which for Tzeentch, I'd run as ML3. You using the second exalted for the portalglyph?

I voted for #2 simply because I remember in another post that you liked the idea of a flying circus. That said, both list would be pretty mean. Either psychic rape by a ton of princes, or by screamerstar. I've yet to play screamerstar, but I've heard it's devastating...until Grimoire fails, then your 800pt Death Star is gone in one turn lol.

If you're Grimoire fails, and Fateweaver doesn't help out, then you should be turbo-boosting your screamerstar out of harms way. I play my screamerstar with 9 screamers and 4 herald's. Hard to burn that all down even if I can't get out of harms way (or don care too) in one round. Forewarning still gives them a 4+, re-rolling 1's.

How many gifts do you take? how do you find their survivability?

The second exalted you were looking at (I think) was a locus, not a reward, and it is for the +1 str to psyker shooting in the unit. Though in that first list I was looking to add a portaglyph, not sure wheere i could take points from though.

Care to elaborate on why you like the horrors better? or anyone?

I don't know the daemon book that well, but you need the portapotty of doom to crap out little squads to help with scoring unit production. You drop it behind LOS blocking terrain in your deployment zone and fart out small squads to hold objectives while your army does the heavy lifting.

Almost a must for either screamer star or flying circus, IMO.

How would you suggest implementing it into either/both of the above lists, I had similar thoughts but was unsure of how important it really was.

Like I said, I don't own the daemon book, but I believe you can give a cheap herald in either list this capability. Give it to one of the heralds in the screamer star and toss it out before doing your dirty business.

Dunno how it would work for the flying circus, sure someone with better intimate knowledge of the books can wage that war.
