the other day me and a few friends met up to play a large heresy game. lots of fun with all our armies amassed together for an apocolypse battle . ( not all the figs were 30k era , but most were ) with both armies picked we began the fight . world eaters , death guard and emperors children set out against the loyalist forces of the ultra marines and raven guard . i used my wargames factory leivathon as a warhound titan armed with a titan close combat weapon and with a vulcan mega bolter . the armies went at each other in a full out assault , moving to capture several objectives through out the city . the loyalist forces had the upper hand but slowly began to loose ground to the traitors . soon the titan was felled by several death guard terminators . again and again more loyalist marines fell . at the end , loyalist forces only controlled one objective to the south . all other objectives were held by theend to the traitors . a deep blow to the overall war . great game , and a lot of fun . enjoy the pics

Awesome stuff, looks like a battle anyone would be proud to be a part of. Also nice to see the Anvil Industries marines in there, they really do blend in well with the FW stuff, and the Dreamforge levi is great.

thanks guys for the kind words. we had a great time , lot of great talented guys and there fun armies . lots of cool conversions and stuff . my buddy made the city terrain. i love the 2 x 2 city squares with building foot prints on them . they resemble the forge world tiles with out paying the crazy prices the anvil industry guys are great . with a couple of bits they worked good for my vets . the sniper team is pure awesome they do . its always fun when the hobby and group of good friends come together . also when you have a fluffy themed battle it is very satisfying.

Heck yeah! Great show. I didn't realize it was a sphincter until now. Thanks for that. Seeing the Contemptors and the regular dreads in the same picture makes me realize how cool they are. Love the land raiders and the mobile track weapons - Rapiers? Boarding shields also awesome.

Awesome batrep and great pictures of the action. Nice looking armies to boot. All in all, a great spectacle.
