This weekend I worked on getting my Solar pin washed. Russes, Malcs, Stormblade and a couple basilisks to oil then it's details and more weathering.

Finished basing my Tikbalang today, and also finished my Dennis Reynolds which is good timing as I'm using him as an ex-spy character in my new Five Parsecs from Home Campaign I finished rolling up today which is based in the universe of my Sci fi novel I'm working on right now, using the campaign for world building, and maybe ideas for later stories. This is the crew of the Orrel, from left to right it's it's Folsk Gelt (ex-soldier), Hayley (Pilgrim), Azakir Halgriv (former mercenary and uplifted human), Sela Orrel (the captain and former petty criminal), Julia Danseg (Former petty criminal who wants law and order now), and Dennis Howerton (ex-spy).

Yesterday, it was the kid's game day but no one came, so I played against myself of a game of 2000pts of Grimdark Future. The Crew of the Orray and Company vs Independent Inquisition (my own faction based on the Inquisition faction from Secret War my Warhammer 40k/Dark Heresy fanfic series along with Custodian Brothers. I ran out of time, but it was a lot of fun. The game ended in a tie, but the Crew were causing much more casualties.





























Today the Goliath miniatures I ordered to use as "Hulkers" in my new Five Parsecs from Home campaign for my first encounter. I began painting five for this and finished one as a test mini and almost completed batch base painting the remaining four.

3d printed a mordian commander with an original yarrik crab-claw style power fist, and a necron warrior, will try to paint them up some time soon and share pictures, starting to assemble some miniatures as well, need to get my pile of shame worked on.

I finished painting my Goliath Gang minis for my 1st encounter of my new Five Parsecs from Home campaign. So, I played said encounter today. It was fun, although, I was up against Hulkers which are dangerous and scary, especially for a first encounter and a new crew with only two characters with any combat experience. I was victorious, though. Might start up a campaign thread blog about it.

Going to go crush an unexpecting Crusade opponent.

I’m pulling some old Necron Wraiths out of storage and giving them some new life. They’ve been sitting untouched for years, so I figured it was time to dust them off, clean up the paint a bit, and see what I can do to bring them up to my current standard.

Always liked the look of the older sculpts – they’ve got a lot of character compared to the newer ones – so it should be fun to see how they turn out once I give them a bit of love.

I played a 1000 pts game with a long time friend. We had a break from 40k since 8th edition. It was awsome, especialy since he plays necrons and his army has many old-cron models.

I wanted to play through the next Five Parsecs encounter of my new campaign today, as I rolled up the Campaign Turn and the details of the battle in the morning, but I decided to write up the last encounter's BatRep, which took a lot longer than I thought. Oh, well, here are some photos of said encounter.
