Unusual title, but hear me out.
I've been looking for something I can get to using, to create furies of Slaanesh.
In the fluff, furies are essentially the souls of those who were unworthy, or undecided, in their worship of the gods of the warp.
To escape their torturous existence of being outcasts in the warp, they burst through into reality during daemon invasions, and can sometimes be granted the mark of a particular god, and forced or coerced into doing their bidding.
My idea, is to use Ungor, as the representation of this, satyr-like shadows of what once were men. Units of furies will be lead by a herald of slaanesh on a steed, with a whip, and the modelling will be done as if she is driving on a pack of crazed furies with it.
The "Satyr daemons", will be painted deathly pale, with red eyes, highlight's in slaanesh colours, and be covered in red welt's and gash's, as if Slaanesh has allready "Convinced" them to serve him.
Now, there is a few issues with using the models. Namely, they are jump infantry. However, in my mind, they don't need to fly, to be jump infantry. They could move in the manner of space marines with jump packs, literally jumping from place to place. And a goat-legged form, would certainly give this feel, particularly in a daemonic form. The idea of these thing's running faster than any mortal could towards the enemy, leaping over buildings and ravines in a desperate attempt to prove themselves to Slaanesh, or die trying, is really cool in my mind.
Id be modelling them, without any shields, though I would give them appropriate looking hand weapons where I could, or else let them simply gore folks with their horns, and beat them with their fists.
However, sometimes my mind, is a bit too full of weird ideas, a product of playing daemons i'd imagine. So I would like to know what people would think of this idea?
