Looks like, there is new FAQs for

40K Rule Book
Blood Angles
Grey Knights
Imperial Guard
Space Wovles

Looks like Servo Arm has the only thing been changed. Don't see a change in the 40K Rule Book though. Then again I was only
looking for Magenta and don't see anything there.

Just letting all other SM and IG players now.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

Now, very little gets a genuine emotional response out of me from GW. I may be baffled, or puzzled, by certain actions, my attitude towards prices is one of resignation, as I only really purchase the bare minimum from them to keep things ticking over, and usually from a discounter, it doesn't really directly impact me too much.

But this really irritates me.

Nothing says a massive feth you we have your money now feth off and stop bothering us as we dont care anymore to your customers like releasing an FAQ the day of release. Ok, this appears just to revise something to be consistent across all books it appears in, but as a Daemon player, I am still waiting for clarification on a unit that appears not to function as intended approaching 6 months after release.

GW really are just gaking books out going "buy that now, in fact no, don't buy that, buy this hugely overly inflated priced one instead, then feth off"

So this isn't an update in reaction to the new Marine book coming out then?

Maybe it is.
But it's not a FAQ for Codex: Space Marines.

Just a hint, if someone actually states in a post that they are irritated by something, they're probably a not great target for pedantry at that moment.

That aside, it was more a general rant about the pathetic nature of their FAQs recently, so if you disagree with my broader argument, feel free to express why, but lets not get bogged down in minutiae hmmm?

Wait a second... this means that Iron Priests now have 2 attacks base, +1 for wielding a Thunder Hammer and a Servo-harness... still not a great choice, but I'll take any buff for my Iron Priest that I can get.

At least some armies get FAQs.

Yeah, the servo arm entry in the IG FAQ (and maybe some of the others) was just changed to match the wording in the new space marine codex, from what I can tell.

That's not as bad as I first thought: hello combining it with other unwieldy items (as opposed to the "one or the other" suggestion that came before).

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

There aren't actually any magenta passages in the 40K Rulebook FAQ... I suspect that it was updated to remove passages that were no longer necessary with the passing of the old C:SM...

Thank the Emperor that they cleared up the matter about Servo-Arms(!) The forums were just clogging up with queries about that, more important than other problems such as Daemon Chariots and Tzeench Flame Weapons or Preferred Enemy against mixed units.

Well it seems they can never get anything right. Wasn't the DA FAQ listed at the end with the date as Deamons.

That is GW for you. lol

This faq entry is actually a big nerf on meq techmarines on their assault potential. They used to have 3 attacks(1 standart+double weapon+charge) on the charge and 2 servo arm attacks, now they only have 3 attacks with x2 str ap1 (1 standart+1 for 2 specialist weapon+ charge).

That's net loss of two attacks or 1 if you already didn't have double weapons. You have to pick which weapon to use, you regular weapon on your initiative (or power sword-maul) or your servo arm attacks which are now not bonus but only another weapon.

Although there is the positive side of being ap1 instead of just ignoring armour saves which might help against vehicles if you ever get the chance to assault one, or against walkers which assaults you when you are at your tfc.
