icon of wrath

wings

Daemon prince of khorne

very basic game plan of scout dogs and fly Mc turn 1, Turn 2 charge and destroy

would get destroyed by a majority of armies.

gl trying to kill a guard list or anything that starts far back (and in 6th edition thats the majority of lists)

you will not win against anyone that take an aegis and sits back and destroys you specifically marines.

you might be able to beat eldar. thats if they are stupid and took no fire prisms.

grey knights will bash you around from turn 1 until your wiped out.

do i need to mention a space wolves terminator list against this?

if anyone had a brain they would ignore the flesh hounds.

and you may have mc flying but they are so easy to crash and burn not to mention an aegis with 4 rocket launchers will be the end of you.

what tournament is this? if its at warhammer world nottingham then i know that flying lists never win there (apart from necrons)

Sorry about leaving thread here for a little bit there buddy

If you want to go competitive i personally like the idea of Chaos allies with deamons. This allows you to have not only a Heldrake which is about as competitive as something can get but also a REAL Deamon Prince with a black mace, just paint him to fit with your army but mark him as Tzeentch or Nurgle.

the thing is you can have some of your dudes not being marked as khorne if it works better for your list, choosing a completely khorne list is a generaly slightly bad idea cuz it takes out 3/4 of the flexibility that you are suppose to have in this codex. paint them all the same color and mention the alignment to your opponent and then there is no problem.

Soulgrinders are freaking awesome with plegm Bombardment and possibly mark of nurgle, they have some AA too with their Harvester gun which is nice.

I also really like the Bloodthirster, I also equip him with 2 greater rewards.

I like the flesh hounds and I suppose the juggernaught herald is joining them, I like the idea, they can follow the BT and Deamon Princes

I think bloodletters being as cheap as they are would do best around 15 per team to have enough bodies to soak up a bit of shots and then charge with enough attacks to hurt stuff, a champion is only 5pts so really worthwhile.

@ mr League of legends, the Havoc team with 4 flakk missile launchers is 175pts without the aegis defense line, thats as expensive as a Soulgrinder of nurgle with phlegm bombardment which is almost as good AA but them much better in every other way by FAAAAARRRRR.
I like Havocs but flakk missiles are much too expensive, give them Autocannons in a Aegis defense line and its gonna be cheaper and IMO much better.

here is a list that I think could do good.

290 1x BloodThirster / 2x Greater Rewards
290 1x BloodThirster / 2x Greater Rewards
165 16x Bloodletters / 1x Champion
155 15x Bloodletters / 1x Champion
240 15x Fleshhounds
180 1x Soulgrinder / Nurgle / Phlegm Bombardment
180 1x Soulgrinder / Nurgle / Phlegm Bombardment

Total 1500pts

much better at dealing with flyers and lists that wait for you to come to them due to the Soulgrinders shooting
tried to keep the spirit of your list, I know i went Nurgle for Soulgrinders but the shrouded will keep them alive much longer since they will be the biggest annoyance the opponent will have to deal with and shrouded behind ruins means a 2+ cover save with 13AV, 4HP and almost immunity to crew shaken/stunned result. They are super tough.
