Stalwart Strike Squad Grey Knight

Hey all, just picked up the new SM codex. I have to say I really like the way they worked in the Chapter Tactics, especially since the other founded chapter can take advantage of their parent chapter. Made this list up for Iron Hands, just curious how I did and if anyone has any suggestions. Also, what would be a good addition to this list to take it to 2000 points. Allies or another Chapter, Salamanders? Thanks,
Iron Hands 1500

Well the tac squad in pod will have to come down with 1 other dread right?
Where is the MotF going? hanging back and popping off conversion beams?
I think the list is decent, but I am worried you aren't taking enough advantage of the IF chapter tactics. If it were me, I would want at least 2 vindicators. Not sure how to finagle those points in, but I dont believe you need a hunter and a stalker. Do you play against a lot of fliers?

Well wanted to bring in the DP with the locator so I might avoid the loss of the Ironclads. You think there is a better way to do that?
MOTF will hang with conversion and repair my Heavies. I would like to leave at least one flying popper, I can work to fit a second Vind in there, anything else? Automatically Appended Next Post: Ok adjusted this list to try and take advantage more of the IH tactics, how does it look now?

MOTF stays back with the Hunter to make sure it stays running & take Conversion Beam shots.
Ironclad with Locator DP in hoping for good results so I can use the beacon to get my second down there grinding with him.
TAC Squad 1 takes and holds nearest objective.
TAC Squad 2 moves behind Centurion Assault Squad with their Rhino looking to take some middle ground.
LR Crusader rolls my Centurions in to start smashing along side the Ironclads.....
Any suggestions now?

I have read a few other things on the board concerning large TAC squads like I have in this list. Would it be better to drop the Rear D to 5-8? I figure I would leave the Heavy Weapon, since they are moving to a close Objective then sitting. The forward one might drop the Heavy and go with Plasma, hate "Get's Hot" though..lol.
Still thinking of a way to work the locators in. I am not entirely sure, I know that doing a DP list, which this is a mix of, you accept some damages with the deployment, just trying to mitigate the loss. That would also give me 2 AV 13's in your face along with a AV 14 rolling up the middle packed with assualt centurions?

that MOTF will get ID just sitting by himself sadly.
iron clad dreads shoud have either 2 meltas or 2 HFs, not one of each. mixed roles dont end up well sadly.

Alright, maybe I can adjust to fit in some Servitors? Or maybe throw in a ADL for him to get a even better set up?
Would you suggest making all 2 HF or all 2 Meltas? Their role is CC so I would guess HF but it would be nice to melt down a squad of Terms if they are nearby when they land...

well since they cant assult after the drop, i would give em meltas. that way you come in, blow a expensive tank, then assult a different uni when your next turn comes around.
And the MOTF could use and adl and servitors, but a 5 man scout squad would work just as well also

Sounds good the only thing I see here I am not seeing in the codex where I can replace my PF & SB with a Meltagun? I can replace my SB with a HF and I can replace my Meltagun with a HF but cant take 2 Meltaguns? So guess thats why I wanted to keep HF/Melta combo. I can replace both my SB and Meltagun with HF's though, adding 20 more points to the overall cost of the Ironclad though...
I think I might just add some servitors to absorb some punishment..let me rework this....

Now, for the cost of the Servitors I can give my MOTF the Relic the Armor Indominus, which I think would work well to at least save himself a couple times, gives him a Invul save and Relentless, which works nicely with the Conversion Beam in case I have to move behind in and around the Hunter for cover.
Dropped the TAC squads to 8, made sure they have to Vet for the Leadership and Grav weapons since I think they might be the suspect of many a TEQ. Besides, the heavy weapons wouldn't have done much good snap shooting the way to objectives.
Now the enemy has to choose:
Conversion beam with possible 2++ with Relentless, 2 drop pods with Ironclads, the Rhino w/ Tac Squad escorted by the Stormtalon or the LR with a team of Assualt Centurions....what you think?

ya sorry looked through my dex they cant take 2..... whoops. so i either would just take 1 melta gun, and one storm bolter to save points, or double hf. whichever one you want
