Hi!

Here is my TAC List for a Tau/Eldar Army. What do you think? Can it beat a Eldar Serpent Spam,Flying Circuit etc...

Any Idea what I can change to make this List better?

Too many deathrains and not near enough volume fire or high AP2, so, no, I don't think it has enough chance against Serpent Spam (which I own and have used).

... If you use EWO (Interceptor), then you can't fire the next turn, right? Anyway. I'd go PR/FB.

Bad. All these target locks mean your 4 MP shots are going to different targets. With some MarkerL help, 3 each will hit, and then you'll get a Glance or Pen ... 50% of which will be Jinx Saved.

See, the Cover Save on skimmers is the key to their survival. So deny it. Equip one XV8 with the MSS and CCS. Now, the other two suits shoot Twin-Linked, and Ignores Cover, which makes WaveSerpent pilots cry. Makes everyone cry. Equip all two suits with PR/FB, including the Cmdr, who joins the unit and you have the Kingfisher (unofficially named). All the AP2 AP1 makes whole squads of marines disappear, pending the random Invuln Save. And Vehicles disappear, too. I have killed about 92% of what I've pointed it at ... in one salvo.

Your 3 Deathrains won't do too much, shooting all directions, IMHO. They were good in 4e and useful in 5e. But with the new book's changes:
1. MSS/CCS Ignores Cover and Twin Linkage
2. and the longer ranged Fusion Blaster

... DeathRains just are subpar to the Helios or dual FB ... I forgot what that was called.

I think D'Fish are way too pricey for the cost. Unless there are HellTurkeys to face often, I favor 36+ FW gun-line.

The Commander with Chip stay in the Deathrainsquad. That is normaly enough to kill enemy tanks.

The rule concerning ignore cover saves is a little bit different in germany. You can`t ignore cover with markerlights. It´s written in the rulebook that you only ignore cover against wounds and not against armour penetration.

I think it`s enough AP 2 in the List with the both riptides. Where do I need AP 2? Only against Chaos or Marines.Not against Eldar,Daemons,Tau,Tyranids ....

The Etheral is very important for the Sniperteam. Standards are just for winning the mission.

Huh. Using two Markers grants Ignores Cover to a unit in the American book. Oh, well.

1. Jetbikes (with great Cover Saves ... that the MSS laughs at )
2. WarWalkers ... for the add'l plus on the damage chart to blow one up; you go from a 33% chance to Explode one, to 50% on a Penetrating Hit, instead of chewing through a couple Hull Points for each WW in the unit.
3. WraithKnights & WraithGuard (especially for the high Toughness)
... and a distant fourth place
4. Dark Reapers

I didn't mention scorpions, as I doubt they see much action these days.
