I plan on purchasing this list over the next couple months.

Its mostly just for lols but I think it could do ok in minor competition.

You sir, I think have found a way to do a Jackspam even Menoth and Cyriss would be jealous of. Although I might say try and drop either one of the Berzerkers on the Kovnik for another Battle Mechaniks unit or some Merc solos that might help out in this list. Although my opinion on it.

It might be fun, but will fail to do much competitively. It's just too slow. Satyxis Raiders are going to ruin your day. Also, any long range guns are going to shoot the Kovnics and leave you four inert jacks. Proxy it, before you buy it and see if you really like it.

Although it looks like it would be fun to try......for the same kinda money you could run 3vlad tier....

It's a trap.

If you are insistent on doing this, you should at least get a Bokur. DEF12 large base is painfully easy to hit, and letting Karchev get debuffed or disrupted is easily GG.

I think actually it can deal with high def pretty well.

Karchev can cast Unearthly Rage and he all his jacks will have boosted attack and damage rolls.

Then the Kovnik's drive is boosted attack rolls.

So for the measly cost of most of Karchev's Focus and 2 cmd tests all the Jacks will have boosted melee attack rolls, and the Spriggan and Beast-09 will have boosted damage rolls.

Yeah, I remembered the Kov's Drive right after I posted (and then hoped people would overlook that mistake >___> )

That said, the list entertains me greatly. I may try out something similar myself.

The best thing is that it wouldn't be too expensive. Right around $200.

I think you would be better off dropping one of the kovnik/zerkers gangs and taking a third jack on karchev along with some more support models. Honestly though, the higher points you go, the less effective Karchev gets, hes annoying to protect and, while he is probably one of if not THE toughest warcaster in the game, at 50 points, a ranged focus list with put him down in one turn if you give him the chance. Maybe look at Torch, behemoth, devestator, or kodiak to be a third jack under karchev?

Proxy this before you buy it

While I am still pretty new, I have been looking at playing a similar style of list (I like jacks) and thought that a unit of Greylord Ternion would help. Their "blizzard" spell could help provide cover to Karchev.

Not sure if that is viable though.

At this point level a ranged assassination attempt is not going to be effected by the small defense bonus. The factions that are going to shoot you to death have too much access to increasing ranged attacks. This type of jack heavy list usually works fine against melee focused armies or great against other jack heavy lists. I just do not like how you don't have a whole like of ways to get extra attacks on those jacks. I mean, yes he can boost all their attack and damage rolls and let them power attack for free but in jack vs jack combat, khador just about always wants to buy more attacks.
