Currently i have, as HQ: Librarian (in termie armour) and Tigurius. Troops: 2 Tactical Squads (which would ideally split into 4 combat squads) and a squad of Scouts with Sniper Rifles (with Telion). Elites: 5 man squad of CC Termies ( 2 lightning claws each). Fast Attack: Storm Talon (with typhoon missile launcher and assault cannon) and a 5 man squad of Assault marines). And finally, as Heavy Support: a Land Raider. Now: my question is: what would be the next best addition to this list ? Say my budget is £30. What should i get next ? I was looking at a biker squad, and for £30 i can get 2 squads of 3. This would satisfy my anti tank need. I was also looking at devastators (which would benefit from the new codex rules), but i can't make my mind up. Can someone advise me to what the best thing to add would be ?

When talking the new codex, the Thunderfire cannon is awesome but perhaps a bit more expensive.
Do you have transports for your tacticals? They do need a delivery method usually.

Best bet: I would buy 5 bikes for a command squad with 5 grav-guns.
It is the most all around choice, cheap real-life and army-building wise. Of course it can threaten almost everything

I forgot to mention, i do have one rhino, which can hold 2 of the combat squads (as long as they both were originally split from the same tactical squad.

For your suggestion, bikers with grav-guns does sound interesting, but a command squad is a HQ choice, and i already have that filled.

Command squad does not take up a force organisation slot, you can check the codex.

Dammit. Still won't have the new edition until tomorrow. Will a command squad box plus the bike boxes come with options to equip a grav-gun ?

Actually, a better question would be: what kind of weaponry can a command squad take, and do they actually come with all the possible options in the sprue ?

they can take one of each special weapon..... the kit comes with one plasma gun
