BT Sword Brethren are not in the new SM codex right now, though I have a gut feeling they'll make a comeback in the BT supplement. If they do, what should be the rules for them?

I think they should 18pts each and other than that be like CSM chosen: up to 4 may take special weapons, up to 2 take heavy weapons, and any model may take a power weapon or combi-weapon. could lead to some powerful combinations.

Well, they kind of are. One Initiate can upgrade to a Sword Brother.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

And the rest of them are Stern- or Vanguard.

For thirteen years I had a dog with fur the darkest black. For thirteen years he was my friend, oh how I want him back.

I agree with Walrus. Sword Brethren got removed as their own unit because BT can take their Sternguard and Vanguard Vets now.
