I painted up this Katherine Laddermore for the P3 Grandmasters this year. She got a silver medal.

I've also posted her to Coolmini if you'd like to be opinionated about her.

Anyway, here she is:

Yeah, she's cool. Well deserved Silver finish even if I can't see the ones she was up against.

A Heretic may see the truth and seek redemption. He may be forgiven his past and will be absolved in death. A Traitor can never be forgiven. A Traitor will never find peace in this world or the next. There is nothing as wretched or as hated in all the world as a Traitor. - Cardinal Khrysdam, Instructum Absolutio

Very pretty, but what is she armed with? some sort of power umbrella?

It is more of an electrical lance- this is the dismounted version of Kat Laddermore- she starts games as a cavalry mini.

Very cool, I love that mini! Are you planning on painting the mounted version as well?

Damn. You just ruined that model for me. I will always see a power umbrella.

Regarding Ms. Laddermore, the cloak is really fantastic. The subtle freehand is really well done, as is the lighting effects and shading. Actually, I really like the lighting effects all over the model. You convey the different textures of the armor, cloth cloak and power lance really well with the various ways you highlighted those materials.

I have her, and I'm sure I'll be painting her up. As of right now, I'm not planning on entering her in the P3 competition, so I'll be spending a bit less time on her.

I'm also not totally sure when I'll get around to painting her up- it might be a while.

Thanks, the OSL was something I was concerned about.
