Trying to see if I can use Iron hands Chapter tactics to bring back a new version of my 5th ed army that performed very well.

Libby terminator armour, storm shield, level 2 125
Elites Terminator assault 4x th/ss 1xlc LRC with MM 480
Troops Tactical x5 1x flamer Razorback TL assault cannon 150
Troops Tactical x5 1x flamer Razorback TL assault cannon 150
Troops Tactical x5 1x flamer Razorback TL lascannon 150
Troops Tactical x5 1x flamer Razorback TL lascannon 150
Heavy Predator Annihilator TL las/las 140
Heavy Predator Annihilator TL las/las 140

The question is, will FNP 6+ and IWND be enough to bring back my mech?

That looks like a solid list, I'd like to hear how it performs on the table.

Actually not. Your army will hardly benefit from both rules. And now you are looking at an army whose tanks can be taken down by Eldar, Tau, and Necrons with ease.

Care to elaborate?

Is there a Chapter Tactics option you feel would be better?

I read a very recent thread where you actually advocated razor spam. So which is it mate? You're clearly trolling, which, going by the number of your posts, is just ridiculous.

Well, no, this is not my policy saying this and praying for the other. It depends on the hypotheses which I encounter in a thread.

Not sure why people want to hate, but I can almost guarantee you'll give just about anyone a good game with that list. It's balanced with plenty of Anti-tank via the Predators and Land Raider. It has anti-infantry with the Assault Cannons and flamers on the tacticals. If you can't ignore flyers and feel the need to shoot them, the Assault Cannons can help you out there as well. You have plenty of scoring units, so long as you can either keep them in their boxes or otherwise protected. The list's main weakness is still what razor-spam lists suffer from in general: the potential for giving up easy first blood. However, your chapter tactics mitigate that a fair degree, so I say good luck to you sir!

I was hoping to get some further explanation: Is there something about this specific iteration of a mechanized SM list that I'm not executing well, or are you saying that the strategy overall is dead?

Is it my hypothesis that the new Iron Hands chapter tactics specifically is enough the problem? Is there a better chapter tactics to use or are you saying that the chapter tactics are not a boon or a negative?

why motf. doesnt work wll in this list. libby goes with the termies, and boosts them. motf does well.... nothing

Little light on troops isn't it? Also not sure if termies are the way to go. Sure they're tough, but they are a lot of points and don't shoot anything.
