Hello every one,

Im still pretty new to KOW, I really enjoy the game and how simple it is. Ive never played a fantasy type game as this is my first. Last night i played a 1000 point game and im in love, this is the only wargame my wife will play with me lol.
Any ways im having a hard time with picking out a model to stand in as a Krudger (if im spelling that right) on a winged slasher. Does any one know of any models that are to the same scale as the rest of the orcs? Id like to pic one up, the GW orks on dragons will be to large and not fit in with the rest of my KOW orcs.Any help would be great!

I personally used a Mierce Wyvern and got a Gamezone Orc on Boar, but mounted him on the Wyvern instead. Had to make a saddle out of greenstuff and cut up his left arm to be holding a chain as reins.

Very blurry pic... I need to get some decent pics taken. And finish up their bases. I haven't yet painted up the chariots and fight wagons to add to the army.

Looks really cool, id like to go with a frost orc look. Blue skin kinda like trollbloods.

I was going to mention using a Reaper Wyvern with an Orc rider... but you have me beat all the way 'round the ring.


Ah, I know!

Look around and see if you can find the old McFarlane Toys Eternal Dragon from the Dragon Kingdoms Series 1 -

Then replace the rider.

For a long time you could find it discounted in places like KayBe toys.

The Auld Grump, still not as cool as that Mierce wyvern....

It's a whatever-you-want kind of beastie. Since it's got higher stats and no 'Individual' rule, I use it to represent all kinds of monsters. For instance

Very Very nice! Im going to try and go for a Snow them for the orcs. Kinda like they are hunting Dwarfs in the moutains and have waged war for so long that there skin has turned blue. Want to use something like a frost wyrm from Reaper.

That sounds like a cool army idea. Mierce Miniatures has an ice monster made out of ice and stone coming out soon, that could be your centerpiece model. A frost wyrm is a great idea, BUT - you could use the Frost Wyrm as, say, a "Fight Wagon", as it's faster than normal Orcs and has lots of attacks (6 attacks!). Just get a couple and mount them on 50mmx50mm bases!

That pic of Galagaak is not my model, though I do own him, I haven't painted mine yet.

Sort of, they use slightly different parts, you can see from these pics

But since Kings of War encourages "counts as", I'd say for a cool snow-themed Orc army, the Frost Wyrm could be "counts-as" a Fight Wagon
