I'm looking for alternative flightstands to make my Waveserpents more stable on the field. I don't want to pick them up and move them around with being afraid of constantly breaking the thin GW flightstand.

Anyone have a good suggestion for a stable and robust alternative?

Personally i like the magnetic route as if you accidentally catch the stand on something it will just separate instead of cracking.

Any magnetic flight stands you've purchased that you'd suggest?

Google "Magz". You can pick them up on the cheap on ebay. 1 1/2" to 2" in height glue it to a clear large round base and your all set. They can hold a Hammerhead and Devilfish all day, no reason a waveserpent wouldn't work. Just put a mini screw or magnet on the bottom of your skimmer to hold it and removable for storage in your case. Best of luck!!

I just enlarge the mounting hole with a 3mm drillbit.
The vehicle now sits on more than just 1 cubic mm of plastic and is more stable.
