No, as Crypteks come from Royal Courts.

Royal Courts are only unlocked by Overlords + the named Character Overlords (Imotekh, Anrakyr & Trazyn)

Gamesworkshop is the one with the big deal. I believe they call it copyright infringement or some such legal term and can try to chase down dakka if dakka doesn't enforce the policy stated above. So there is in fact a "sense of community", a very good one, that is choosing to follow the rules of the website and protect the websites interests.
