Subject: Homing Beacon Can it be used by allies - Battle Brothers?

My question is with the Tau Tetra which comes with a homing beacon. I have the New IA Tau book and it just says homing beacon with no explanation, so I assume you use the BRB 6th ed. I was wondering this as I would like to use it with warp spiders and was wondering if this was possible? Thanks

Depends. Does the Tau Codex say "friendly units" or does it say "friendly units from Codex: Tau Empire"?

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

tau codex isnt even available for question in this case happy.
The tetra is a Forgeworld unit and it comes with a homing beacon. Tau dont have homing beacons unless its a new addition with this latest book.
Space marines do, and they state any friendly unit arriving by deep strike may choose to land within 6" of the model without scatter.

In that case I recommend you look at the Support Systems in the new Tau codex. Here is a hint; Page 69.

I looked at it in the Tau book looks like it is friendly models so if the IA Tetra gear is considered the same as the Tau Codex rules then it should work. cool
