Mechanicum already has a codex people!!!!
And they're wonderful, with the old rogue trader giant robots vaguely described in the heresy series as troops.
They're also getting more new stuff in the new Heresy book.

Finally found my quote from a gym buddy born and raised in South Korea:
"It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us the freedom of the press.
"It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech.
"It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate.
"It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag." |

More Xenos please.
More than half of the armies are already human. This really should not be the case, especially when most of the Xenos are already fairly close to humans in appearance (Orks, Eldar, Tau, and Necrons) and one of the Xenos species has two armies to boot.
Addittionally there are many interesting Xenos who could be made into armies such as the Hrud, Umbra, Slaugth, Rak'Gol, Thyrrus, and so on so forth.

You can already expect a Mechanicum army from Forge World.
IF there was another army - and that would be a big IF because there is plenty to cover in what they already have... I wouldnt mind seeing some type of lizard man type alien race....

I admit, It would be cool to have the Ad Mech as an army.
BUT they gotta properly balance/finish/fine tune etc all 10+ of them.
adding another one would not help.

I'd like a proper Titan Legion starting from the smallest Knights working up to the Warlords, but I think FW will do this in time for the new Warlord that FW hinted is coming in a couple of years.
The Mechanicum are in the new HH book with a full army list and a ton of new models coming. I would expect them to feature in an IA book at some point as well.
Although I voted for them as they are my prefered choice but Custodes will be covered by FW in a future HH book. We may have to wait a few years but it'll happen.
Squats? No, hold on. This isn't some species that was obliterated by deforestation, or the building of a dam. Squats had their shot, and nature selected them for extinction.
New Xenos? I wouldn't trust GW to handle this right. If they do it I'd like to see the Laar as they are very different from what we have now.

Squats still officially exist, check out the appendices in the big rule book.
Most, if not all of the imperial choices listed could be rolled into an existing codex. Squats specifically would fit well into guard. Arbites and Custodes would fit with Sisters and/or Inquisition. Arbites could also fit in with Guard.
Mechanum could almost be their own, but again, they can be easily moved in with existing Guard and Inquisition Armies.
A new Xenos race could be done for sure, but not many races in the fluff have the depth to fill an entire codex. A group of aliens might work, but the Tau seem to do that already so really that would work better as a supplement for Tau than a stand alone.

I'd love to see Arbites, in all their shotgun wielding, riot shield packing, badass glory.
Alas, it would probably never work.
