I have yet to try it, but I've heard you can take off liquid mask with a pencil eraser. It might be an easier way to start the peeling than with your tweezers.

I have not tried the eraser but one of the youtube viewers mentioned a toothpick and that does work fairly well, especially if it also has some hardened liquid mask on the tip.
