I just was toying around with another land raider variant, Lemmie know what you think.
The idea was good against light armor, and monsterous creatures.

Looks good but maybe for balance reduce the transport cap to 6 like the other, heavier variants such as the Achilles and the Prometheus. For this it could be due to the extra ammunition needed for 6 Assault Cannons.

The Standard LR is 250.

TLAsC are equivalent to TLLC. We have two sources for this, the razorback and the storm raven. So we can swap out the godhammers for free.

You can upgrade a TLHB razorback to a TLAsC razor for 20 points. Add that to your 250 base and you get 270 for the guns

Then 10 points for the caremite plating. This I have a problem with. On the flyers, it doesn't bother me. You don't need melta to down them. But on a AV14 chassis, being able to ignore the biggest AV tool of a large number of armies is too much. If you want to keep it, I'd add another 10-20 points to the price. Or just drop it, run the tank at 270, and call it a day.

I assume it has 4 hull points?

Yes, 4 HP, I figured reducing the transport cap might help offset the additional utility of the plating.

Also, it only has 3 assault cannons, 1 on each sponson, and one on the front.
I could see a small additional bump for the plating I suppose.

Yeah, I agree with this post about points cost and the ceremite plating. Giving immunity to melta is asking for trouble when put on an av 14 chassis.

The big thing in my mind you need to address, is what does this vehicle do when compared to the crusader? Both operate best at medium/close range. I would suggest either keeping the transport capacity at 10 models and allowing assault, or increase the capacity but take away the ability to assault from it. Turn it into a medium range firebase as opposed to a charge deliver system.

This way it will have to act differently from the crusader and the redeemer.

Oh come on, you can have so many more gatling cannons than that.

A pintle mounted assault cannon, have gatling gun nose paintjobs, have as many people inside carry assault cannons, then have three to twelve of them drive towards the enemy depending on the size of your game, then have everything in fast attack be storm talons for more assault cannons, then have as many troop choices as possible, all with assault cannon razorbacks.

There you go, assault cannons in your dedicated transport, elite, fast attack, and heavy support slots..

Edited: I fixed the wording, I meant the pintle weapon could be a mult-melta for 10 points

This land raider fills a role where all its weapons are useful on the same targets (unlike the Crusader)
Its good against transports, monsterous creatures, and heavy infantry.

The crusader seems to be purely anti-infantry, the godhammer has identity issues between the lascannons and heavy bolters.
