Hi guys,

Not sure if anyone has noticed but in games-workshop.com website the Sisters of Battle tab has been renamed.

It is now Adepta Sororitas.

Checked Australian, US and UK website and all have been renamed.

I thought maybe I have been misreading it all this time but you will notice that all the factions are in Alphabet order expect the SoB.

Hopefully good news for all the SoB players

Anyway, in case you hadn't heard, we're getting a digital codex release this month. It'll be the White Dwarf Codex with some minor updates, like warlord traits and tweaked points and faith. This is probably in relation to that, I guess they're adjusting the SoB on their website in preparation for the digital release.

Ahh awesome, knew about the Digital Release but did not realise it was coming out so soon.

Nice to know they are getting Warlord traits as well.

Hope they do a mini Supp for Necrons just to give us unique traits.

By digital codex, do you mean like a pay-to-download sort of thing or are they actually just putting it up there?

Pay to download, almost certainly. They've some added new stuff in, so it's not just some copy+paste job. They've actually spent some time on it, it seems.

And here I was thinking GW abandoned SoB.

Well, point cost modifications, scaling Faith, and a new warlord table, as has been announced.
I wouldn't expect anything else - but maybe they will surprise me. We shall see.

There was no reason why it should be different - they've always been the Adepta Sororitas in the English language, just like it was always Adeptus in German, whyever.

I'm not sure I like the army rename on the page and cover, though.
#1 It's a deviation from established standards. It doesn't say "Codex: Adeptus Astartes" either.
#2 The Adepta Sororitas is (way) more than just Battle Sisters.

If you follow GW news as closely as some of us, you'd know that GW hasn't abandoned them at all. Good attempt at starting a flame war though!
