Nice work, your white is very clean and everything looks neat and tidy.

You really hit the mark on that red cape. It looks extremely nice. The white actually looks a little thick to me personally but it may be a result of the image quality and not the model itself.

As an asside: To truly finish this model you should remove the mold lines along the forearms as they draw attention to that area and away from the quality work elsewere on the model.

Kudos

I really like the cape, the detail looks good, but the power hammer shouldn't be solid blue. When it's on, it should still show plenty of metal. But it shouldn't be on at all. That hammer should be a deactivated, non-glowing thunder hammer, because it's making contact with his armor.

That is up to the artist, it is not a rule that must be followed. Most painters that I've seen have painted their power weapons in a soild colour, as it is quite difficult to have both metallic/grey and energy colours and make it look good.

OP, that looks like a fantastic paint job. The white doesn't look that thick to me and the reds are amazing. One protip: use the macro function on a camera (it's the button with the flower) which lets you take things that are close to the camera in much better detail.

How exactlly did you do the white and the red? Stay Classy - Feasible

The Riptide can't be a giant death robot, its completely lacking a sword or massive chainsaw. All giant death robots have swords or massive chainsaws.

The white was done first. Once i air-brushed the grey primer onto the model, i airbrushed white onto the armour. That is all. Once the details on and around the armour was complete, i watered down some nuln oil and applied it carefully to line the details. I dotted white onto any spots i got other colour onto by mistake right at the end.
As for the red cape, i first watered down gory red (Vallejo Game Colour) and 'washed' it over the areas. Then i washed it with nuln oil. After that, i painted gory red over the top and started mixing gory red and bloody red, layering it so that some darker colour was left behind in the recesses. When i got to a 50:50 mix, i used that as the 'main' colour. I then highlighted with Bloody red, followed by an orange (forget which one) on extreme edges.

Thanks for all the comments guys. I appreciate it

The blue thunder hammer and white armour go great together.

You carry the Emperor's will as your torch, with it destroy the shadows.
