Hey gents,
Any opinions on non-GW terrain such as the Battlefield in a Box and Pegasus Games stuff? Curious as to what has impressed the community here in the world of terrain alternatives. Some of the Battlefield stuff is quite appealing due to being pre-painted and somewhat cheap. Share your thoughts please!

Battle field in a box is definitely good stuff. Solid construction, prepainted, and decently priced.

There's tons of stuff on Ebay. Just search something along the lines of "Warhammer terrain" or "wargaming terrain"

I dont think he was asking where to get it lol.
I think they are cool in general so long as it matches the rest of the terrain and table. (out of place terrain and color schemes grind my gear.(fantasy stuff next to Tau tech is weird))

I rather like the Battlefield in a Box stuff. As was previously stated, it's inexpensive, pre-painted, and solid. I've got a number of pieces and have been quite happy with them.

Pegasus, Armorcast, Micro Art and Ziterdes are all good stuff for bigger terrain.
There are more good companies for more special stuff.

I use a fair bit of Battlefield in a Box terrain, it's mostly well priced.
I also have some of the Pegasus rivers, cheaper than the Battlefield in a Box ones but no branching options, and I really need another box to stretch across a 6' table.
I also have some of the Urban War platforms. They do the trick.

Apologies for talking positively about games I enjoy.

I've got some of the Battlefield in a Box terrain and it's excellent. Pegasus also do good stuff - their Technobridge is a favourite if you've got a river.

A well-built citadel gaming board is still a sight to behold, GW do do some amazing terrain though.
