Anyone know the official day this will become available? I don't personally have access to an iPad (or any other alternative product) so I've been waiting to get this for a few months now :-/

I've been checking the website recently too since I'm in the same boat.

It should be appearing any day now - hopefully

Limited and unlimited edition are released 19th October (39€ and 65 €, so first one like Codex, second one slightly less that limited Dark Elf armybook).

I agree with you, would be nice for an 'official' release/pre-order/confirmation from GW.

Why? Only in a few very important cases like new starters will there be a preorder period of 2 weeks. Many mail order only items get no preorder period at all. So at best, we see preorder pics next Friday night, at worst on release day.

Guess we'll see tomorrow if it's coming out now or not.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but was there more than one picture on the GW site o the book a few days ago? Looked it up this morning again and there's a picture of the slipcover coming out and an actual photo of the book open displaying the page of the planets the Enclaves are based on.

Funny how the whole 18th October is not the 19th October.
Funny how you can wait the whole Friday for a Saturday release

Whoop my bad, guess I misread that post awhile back and never realized I saw 18 instead of 19. Well we'll see what happens tomorrow.

Anyone managed to pick one up yet? Will be trying to get one at the local GW shop once they open.

Wonder if they've changed some of the more ambigious wordings in the book but I'm not holding my breath ...

Physically impossible, as they are mail order only and will be shipped Monday earliest.

As a university student, I already buy enough $100 <100 page books.

I think I'll pass on that one. I'm already reluctant to order the normal one, as I can't get a discount on it, so I have to pay the "you don't live in America" tax. $70 is a bit steep for 72 pages, as much as I liked the fluff and rules in it. I'll probably just stick to my print out of the rules page, it's not like I go to tournaments or anything, so I'm not going to buy the bloody thing twice just to have something physical.

Therefore, I conclude, Valve should announce Half Life 2: Episode 3.

Had the chance to leaf through a copy at the local GW on thursday. Has a decent amount of fluff, some scenarios and a pretty decent wallop of battlesuit upgrades: one involves an earth caste suit that can reroll certain dice at the trade of an even worse WS than usual. Might pick one up eventually, but for now I'd rather spend 50 euros worth on something else. The regular cover and dustjacket looks pretty fething sweet anyway

Whereas to an englishman the taking of a sledgehammer to crack a nut is a wrong decision and a sign of mental immaturity, to a russian the opposite is the case. In russian eyes the cracking of nuts is clearly what sledgehammers are for.

The rules are nothing new, but most of us have not had the opportunity to read through the fluff - which is why I'll be picking up the a copy.
