Right, this has caused some debate between me and a few friends...so .......scenario is thus.

Blood angels army......two strategy asset cards.

Card 1 - any army - precise deep strike - no scatter
Card 2 - blood angels - any unit arriving via deep strike may assault on the turn is DS - this card is from the Armageddon expansion.

I, as a blood angel player, argue I can use both to DS a land raider and then assault out of it, as the unit inside the LR have arrived via DS.
My opponent argued that the LR has travelled at flat out or greater therefore the unit cannot assault.

I also have friends on either side of the fence, so what do you guys reckon, yay or neigh, to the unit in the LR assaulting from DS?

Answers on a postcard

Brotherhood of the Damned 20,580

Nids 1,900

5,800

I am the Beard and I'm..........*whispers* Awesome

That way,then left

A vehicle deep-striking moves too fast for a unit inside to voluntarily disembark without a special rule.
(Wrong there)

Totally legal. And you would only have to use the can assault after deep strike one.

You mean a special rule like "Deep Strike"? Specifically the first paragraph after the bullet points under "Arriving by Deep Strike".

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
