My first attempt at a list with the new book. The only item that is "mandatory" is the solo Medusa since the wife insists on it and also insist that I paint it like Ariel.

Haven't dove in on magic lore selection yet, but that doesn't affect purchases very much. My favorite part about this army is that it won't cost me very much to make since I own a large portion of these already.

Also, if I don't need the Musician on the Sisters, I'd prefer to drop that and use the 10 points elsewhere, like on a shield for the Peg Master.

As a side note, I'm sad to report that my prediction for magic items was mostly correct. The only exception was that Sac Dagger was changed to not be so OP, but every other army specific magic item that I took(and that were damn near mandatory) are gone. No pendant, no regen armor, no cheap 1+ armor, the 2 useful cheap banners are gone, all the good magic weapons are gone. In fact, we have no unique magic armor at all. The flip side of that is that Sea Dragon Cloaks are way better now, giving a 5+ scaly skin. So a 1+ armor is still cheap to get on foot if you rock an Enchanted Shield, SDC and Heavy Armor for all of 15 points, so no real loss there other than not being able to use ES somewhere else.

Anyway, here's my list:

Supreme Sorc. Lv 4, Talis. of Pres. 265
Sorceress, Lv 1, Dispel Scroll 105
Death Hag, Cauldron, Witchbrew, BSB 330
Master, Dark Pegasus, Heavy Armor, SD Cloak, Sword of Striking, Crown of Command 180

CORE:
30 Corsairs, XHW, Full Command 360
30 Witch Elves, Full Command 360 (Cauldron here of course)

SPECIAL:
14 Black Guard, Musician, Standard 230
10 Shades, Great Weapons 180
1 War Hydra, either flame weapon 180

RARE:
14 Sisters of Slaughter, Musician
1 Bloodwrack Medusa 90

Army total 2500

what lores are you taking?
I can't remember what the Medusa does. so no comment

The pegasus captain would benefit from a shiled or something (charmed/enchanted/regular)

I'm still a little underwhelmed by witchelves just because they are str 3. I've played every str3 army in the game and have yet to have them be a proper combat unit. (elves, beastmen, empire, brets, etc)
I'd be a little concerned for you Hag BSB unless the cauldron provides a wardsave (5+ is all right) as she would be the first thing I would attack. A unit of knights would neuter that unit, esp if they had ASF as well. Black Guard and sisters look smallish in numbers and the shades look too big in my opinion.

Doesn't the CoB have a 4+ ward for itself? then gives a 5+ to the unit its with?

Demigriffs... You got a medusa and a couple S5 units... Demigriffs.

Please put this on your sig if you know someone, work for someone or are related to someone who suffers from stupidity. Stupidity is real and should be taken seriously. You could be sitting next to a sufferer right now. There is still no known cure for stupidity and sympathy does not help. But we can raise awareness.... 93% won't copy and paste this because they don't know how to copy and paste

Lores, man! Lores are part of your list!

Also, what's the point of the Master? He has 3 S4 attacks, he won't be killing much and, with no secondary save, he's not even that durable. The points are much better spent elsewhere.

Swap the GWs on the Shades for AHWs. They hunt War Machines, so shouldn't need anti-armour. The extra attacks and the re-rolls are far more useful. I'd also drop the Sisters to minimum squad size, they're not meant to kill stuff, they're meant to support.

Use the points saved to bump up the Black Guard, or add some chaff (Riders/Warlocks) somewhere.

I was considering Life on the LV4, but Shadow is a major contender.

The master is mostly to distract and hold up units. In order to make him survivable and killy, he'd need to bump up to Dreadlord, which I'm not opposed to.

All the other changes look good.
