I think Life would be a good lore for this. Perhaps spilt the Sisters into 2 units of 10 (support charge to remove ranks and parry for one of your 3 hordes to murder a unit).

Then get some support units like 2 Bolt Throwers or some Doomfire Warlocks etc.

Any spare points can get War Cry on the Hags. Fear tests at -3Ld is pretty amazing for 15 points. The other option is to drop 1 cauldron from a Bloodwrack Shrine making that LD test at -4 which is pretty bent perhaps on the unit without the Razor Standard.

Yeah -3 LD is awesome for 15 points.

Is the Medusa shrine cheaper than CoB? not got book on me.

if so i would still take a Hag on foot for the unit it joins of not needed?

Yeah take the Hag on foot for war Cry and get the Shrine witch is 15 points cheaper than the Cauldron.

210 points for what? warlocks plus bitz or decent Master BSB?

You need chaff / chaff clearer. Warlocks and Dark Riders are great for that
otherwise you're going to run after crappy 5-man units for the whole game with your Frienzied units

Yeah Warlocks, Harpies and Dark Riders would all add something to the list. BsB is less necessary as you are frenzied but still useful for controlling your units. Warlocks are amazing 125 points for a lvl2 wizard with 5 wounds, 10 S4 attacks, 4+ ward and is fast cavalry with movement 9!!! What's not to like?

If you could find 20 points to upgrade a unit if DR into Warlocks that would be a good switch. Maybe remove/reduce the ward save on the Supreme Sorceress if anything ever going to be alive to hit her after Helebron, Tullaris and the Executioners have hit? Or drop some executioners so you have a nice round unit size with the Characters in there?

I guess you are kinda right about the ward.

What about dropping her ward altogether, swapping it for an ironcurse icon and using the points to upgrade both dark rider units into warlock units?

I don't think you need two Warlock units if you're running a Lvl4, you won't have enough power dice. Though I know how you live symmetry and taking things in pairs...

I do indeed

In fairness the Level 4 would take priority but the warlocks are still pretty good in combat aren't they compared to most chaff?

Aren't they 2 attacks each? Then horses on top of that?

yeah, 2 ASF poisoned attacks if I'm not mistaken, that's 3+ with re-roll against most chaff
and 4+ ward is just crazy on fast cav like those

They sound preety boss to me. and provide me with magic options as well for only 20 points a unit more than dark riders.

I think i'll stick with two units of them.

Based on that what do people think? does the list work?
