Hi guys painted these quickly just so i could pick which chapter i am going to paint my marines in .
However i cant choose so i leave it up to you dakkanites to decide .

You have 3 choices
1:Ultramarines
2:Iron hands
3:Salamnders

Salamanders, the green is more interesting than the black of the Iron hands and the Ultra Marines have been done by many people already. Go green and make your army stand out.

Salamanders aren't exactly rare, either... Regardless, I agree with the others that your Salamander is the best painted of the lot. It's an attractive scheme, so if you're already got a decent method down, it wouldn't be a bad choice.

Also, are these intended for play? With all of the new chapter-specific traits and rules, you may want to factor that into your decision. Any of those schemes can be made to look good and none are terribly complex, compared to the others.

I have about 2500 pts of space marines that i have to paint .
threw these 3 marines in like an hour just to make up my mind

In terms of playstyle im leaning towards salamanders and Ironhands .
But after Reading your responses all i can say is bring it on Vulcan

Yeah, the salamanders would probably be the best

You have alot of marines to paint. You should start a blog of your progress

I'd vote for Salamanders because of the scheme and I like green. They are also pretty awesome this edition.

However, if you want to be painting lots of vehicles / dreadnoughts I'd say go with the Iron Hands as it fits their fluff and they are a little less common (for now at least).
