Warhound titans are horrible, we all know that but I was playing a games yesterday and came across a warhound with a turbo laser and plasma blastgun. The long and the short of it was it ripped through my space marines killing oh so many and then fibbed Horus (my pride and joy! ). I just couldnt muster enough non-dead fire to kill it. whats the best way?I

Have you tried UN Sanctions?

Seriously though, outside of D weapons, bringing large amounts of anti-tank weapons helps. As does hitting it with Thunderhammers.

But really IIRC, deep striking inside the void shield and unloading a load of melta shots could do it. Also melta bombs if they manage to survive (command squad, stern guard vets)

they are still av 13-4??? so that aut to work.

Also as spess mahrins, don't we have that awesome librarian formation with the moving D template?

Could have been a Heresy Era game, they can take a Titan in the Lords of War slot.

Well, you need titan killer weapons. Nothing else will help. In our last Apo game, we killed a Bio Titan twice in this way.

This is probably the single most destructive solution.

I don't think there's anything in the game short of the warlord and imperator titan that reliably survives one of those.

Sternguards with allot off melta in a drop pod.

It was indeed a forge world game using a lot of proxies and a plywood I believe Titan. Unfortunately the HH titans come with an extra void shield and night vision at no extra cost which just makes them hideous.
