Hi Guys!

I'm just getting back into Warhammer 40k since 3rd-4th edition and I'm surprised there are still no female farseers. So I thought I'd convert one! It's still a work in progress and I'm not that great of a converter, but I think it's going well!

Feel free to comment!

I used the newer Alarielle Everqueen model as a base and added on farseer features from current farseer finecast models. Since regular farseers can't equip witch staffs, as of the 6th edition, I changed the wargear to a converted singing spear. I liked the staff from Alarielle so much that I couldn't part with it completely, and since I'm fielding a Biel-Tan army, the heart shapes were a definite keeper.

I removed the base since it was a little too elaborate for a 40k piece: I also filed down the toes so they look more like shoes since I don't see farseers walking barefoot in battle.

You also can't see it from this angle, but I added a wraithguard's rear piece to the back of Alarielle's collar to further give it that farseer/40k look.

Since most farseers are required to have ghosthelms, I shaved off the rear part of the farseer head and added it on. The Alarielle's model made it real easy since the head-piece is separate from the model.

I'm not that great with GS, so I transplanted the wraithbone, but I'll still have to use some GS to make up the deficit below the belt.

Once the glue dries, I'll prime the model and paint.

Looks pretty awesome so far, its tricky to say exactly while it's all white/ grey but I think it'll look great painted up!

Some photos at different angles would be nice; but from what I can see, it looks really promising.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

Here are additional shots of my Biel-tan farseer on multiple angles:

There are some gaps I'll still need GS to fill in, like the sides of the ghosthelm, the lower part of the wraithbone, and the tip of the singing spear.

I also need to add the farseer shoulder pad on the other arm.

I've finally completed my conversion. All it needs now is priming and painting.

I'll be using the Biel-tan color scheme, with the main robes being green, ghosthelm white, and ancillary clothes being white.

I'll post when fully painted.

Feel free to comment.

Thanks! I appreciate your kind words. I'll post the final product when I'm all done.
