@ Eldercaveman, sweet, let me know when you've posted some pics! I used Vallejo Glaze Medium to thin the wash and it worked very well. Apparently GW's Lahman Medium is intended for the same purpose but I haven't tried it.

Thanks man I'm at the shop tonight so I'll pick some up, if the GW glaze is anything like their Gloss, it is crap.

Also I'm so glad I saw this thread and got the Command Squad and Veteran squad boxes, as from it I have made the aforementioned priest, but also a kit bashed honour guard, with a few choice Sanguinary guard parts, and I'm currently putting together a librarian/count as Mephiston. And I still have parts galore!


Edit. Uploaded my conversion to my gallery, don't want to post it here as it isn't painted yet, so hardly showcase worthy.
