Tempest's Wrath (Rune Priest Psychic Power) says it affects enemy Skimmers, Jetbikes, Jump Infantry, and units deploying by Deep Strike that are within range. The FAQ says it does not affect Flyers.

I'm operating under the assumption that Flying MCs get a free pass as well, as do Jump MCs and the various "Jet" types.

Does that sound about right?

Jump MCs when 'jumping' move like Jump Infantry so I would think they'd be affected.

that doesn't make them jump infantry. they aren't affected, and neither are FMCs

I don't have the rulebook in front of me here at work and I don't recall the exact wording for what a 'Jump MC' is.

A Jump MC is an MC that moves like Jump units.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Hmm, doesn't sound like enough for TW to effect them, unless a FAQ changes things.

What about Jetbikes? Is that the general term for all sorts of things with Jet in the name?

Jetbike is a type of bike, of which there are (currently) two - Sammael, and Eldar Jetbikes (of which there are Craftworld and Dark variants)

Unit Types are discussed on Page 44 of the BRB. There are the following unit types:
  • Infantry
  • Bikes
  • Jetbikes
  • Eldar Jetbikes
  • Artillery
  • Jump Units
  • Jump Infantry
  • Jump Monstrous Creature
  • Jet Pack Units[list]Jet Pack Infantry
  • Jet Pack Cavalry
  • Jet Pack Monstrous Creature
  • Monstrous Creatures
  • Beasts
  • Cavalry
  • Flying Monstrous Creatures

  • In theory you could have "Jump Artillery" or "Jet Pack Artillery" or "Jump Cavalry" or "Jet Pack Beasts" or "Jump Beasts" with the way the "Jump Units" and "Jet Pack Units" rules are written. The ones I've listed above have actual in-game units that designate the specific sub-type of "Jump" or "Jet Pack".

For vehicles you could add the following:
  • Chariot
  • Fast
  • Flyers
  • Heavy
  • Hover
  • Open-Topped
  • Skimmer
  • Tank
  • Transport
  • Walker

  • Plus we know these can be combined:
  • Fast Skimmer
  • Fast Tank
  • Fast Tank Transport
  • Flyer Hover
  • Heavy Tank

  • And so on.

Tempest's Wrath specifically talks about Skimmers, Jetbikes, Jump Infantry and units deploying via Deep Strike and that's it. Since Jump Infantry is specified and not Jump Units, and its never had a FAQ/Errata update to change it, I'm thinking all the other "Jump" units are immune, just like Flyers. Obviously any combination of Skimmer would be affected though.

Forgot about Screamers. Shows how often I see them.

While a Gliding FMC moves like Jump Infantry, the unit type is still Flying Monstrous Creature, so it wouldn't be affected.

I have a peanut allergy. It's really inconsiderate.
