How are people using their CM and who are they buddying up with?
I've seen the decked out CM and HG deathstar but I wonder if that's not overkill.
For BT, I was considering a CM in a Crusader squad in an LRC. More modest but still potent.
As far as weapons, I get the idea that all builds start with the relic shield, is that true?

Legendary Master of the Chapter

1:Generic unmarked yellow marines for imperial fist, marauders, and a few others
2:HG death star?
3:Cool but take em in doubles or triples otherwise a single lucky melta/las will ruin your day
4:nope. you can opt out the shield if your going on a bike as the T5 minimizes your chance of ID from the majority of sources.

I like the idea of the CM in a Crusader Squad. They can be kitted out for close combat without eating up as much points as the Honour Guard, not to mention that they're a scoring unit!
Just my 2 cents.

I wouldnt run them with AA and a bike minimum. Even if you are putting them in a infantry unit the ability to expand the range is quite significant for any unit they join.

That was my thinking too, cheap scoring support with a few extra power weapons.
