Keep in mind that there could be a delay in shipping due to the massive amount of orders and also most of the staff being at the con... If you need him by then, it might be best to find someone attending the con to get it for you.
That's the plan. Last year it took me until almost October to get my GenCon order.

That's unusual, but IIRC there was an inventory problem with 1-2 items. I cant remember which ones, but if your order contained them, you were stuck waiting until they came in. Normally it takes longer, but not THAT much longer.

I've had this happen every time I've ordered during their presales. Now I just give scratch to the peeps going to the convention. I do, however, wonder what kind of goodies will be at NOVA.

$90 for the Dark Carnival? Ouch. If you want one get one now as people will try and make a killing on auction sites.

I'll be grabbing Dark Carnival and a Mysterious Effigy to bring it over $100. Maybe a Lucky Effigy too for my Gremlins.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Didn't see these. BoLS has the art for the Emmisaries. I really, really like the Neverborn and Gremlin concepts. Archanist and Resser are okay. Ten Thunders is a pretty sterotypical Asian dragon. Not a fan of Guild or Outcast.

They should also have them during the Black Friday sale, if the follow the same pattern as last year.

Good god I could spend some money here.

I've had the cart at $400 dollars before I closed it out of fear.

Yes, I could spend too. But with the exchange rate, a single LE mini isn't worth paying 30% on everything when I can support a FLGS on top of that.

Hmm, you have a link somewhere, that's part of why I'm still a bit on the fence with dark carnival, since it'll need more to work properly as a crew and it really should stay in theme for it to be worth it.

here's the image.

also the pics for all the emissaries are out. not thrilled with the ressers one unfortunately but i do like the guild and the arcanists.

Thanks, that makes it a done deal, have to have the dark carnival.

I kind of like the Rezzer emissary, the TT one however is sort of disappointing :( . The Greemlin and presumably outcasts on the donkey are the winners for me though, to bad I play neither

Oof, hopefully they just sell the Coryphee rather than having them be the $100/$150 pack in bonus, since you generally need multiples.

I like where they're going with the Dark Carnival set.

Theres also word of a new game called "The Other Side" that shares the same setting as Malifaux, but apparrently on the opposite end of the breach (i.e. Earth). Some hints that it may be compatible with Malifaux in some capacity ala Warmachine/Hordes

What we know so far is that it'll have a few new factions and everything the staff is talking about hints towards a very WarhaHordes style of compatibility.

Necromancy doesn't work Earthside, but we know there are more corporate powers beyond the Guild (which we know from Into the Steam) that are all allied. So now we get the Malifaux universe's version of WWI, but it's humans vs. Neverborn or tyrants coming through new breaches.

Man, as much as I enjoy Malifaux, I've been trying to pare down my collection to something manageable... IDK if I have energy for another system.

Theoretically, they should be very interchangable and you should be able to use the same models. However, who can actually resist these?

Automatically Appended Next Post:
They've got Black Friday to put out the majority of what remains of Wave 2 (the Warstore has everything up for preorder through January), then Gencon has what remains of Wave 3 by then (if anything) and The Other Side gets it's launch, basically what M3E would probably have been.

And in case anybody missed them:

Tara's new Henchman, the Scion of the Void (who fluctuated heavily in the beta):

The Scorpius (it was the Basilisk in the beta, but now it's a rogue amalgamation that Marcus took control of):

http://www.gamewire.belloflostsouls.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/scorpius.jpg" border="0" />

Master Queeg (Guild Henchman/Guardsman/Black Sheep):

Guild Mounted Guard:

Guild Sanctioned Spellcaster:

TT Obsidian Oni:

Neverborn/Mimic Changeling:

Outcast's Big Jake (I think I'm keeping my TTB John Wayne with Dog model though):

Arcanist Wind Gamin:

Arcanist Ice Dancer (which was an absolute terror in the beta):

Outcast's Winged Plague (not the bats everyone expected):

Neverborn Turned Ressurectionist Nephilim, Hayreddin (almost exactly what he was in the beta):

I assume they will be parallel games, both supported at the same time like Warmachine and Hordes? This is what I've wanted Infinity to do. Have a lower model count, detailed skirmish game and a parallel larger scale game. The fact Wyrd is doing that is fantastic.

This parallel game sounds amazing.

Aaron Darland just posted on the Wyrd forums.

New game. Malifaux universe. Warmahordes scale. Card Driven. Not compatible.

Didn't clarify what 'not compatible' means, but I'm assuming the units in each game will stick to their own game.

Still..

Jaw-droppingly good minis + Company with proven record of decent and balanced rules = TAKE MY MONIES.

The WM/H stuff was always going on eBay, but now it's even more important I get rid!

I cannot wait to see what they do with large scale model kits. Some massive Neverborn monstrosities and huge hulking human machines.

They already beat the tar out of GW on plastic infantry sized models, I want to see them take them to school on large kits, which are still GW's domain.

Is 'Eavy Metal Calling?

UK

So by 'Warmahordes Scale' are they referring to larger models or a higher model count?

Because if it's the latter, and if it has multi-pose plastic kits and decent rules, then Holy New Best Thing Ever, Batman!
