Subject: What are the strongest Daemon units in 40k?

As the title says, I'm looking for opinions on what the strongest Daemon units are, and in what configurations. Please don't just say "Unit X". I'm looking more for "10-12 of Unit X, with these upgrades and attached ICs". I'm trying to build a dual-use Daemons list and I want to see how much overlap there is between 40K and WFB.
Thanks!

For 40k it is nurgle/slaanesh/tzeentch daemon princes and greater daemons. Flesh hounds in 15+ strong groups with attached herald of khorne on juggernaut but still good without, screamers in 9 strong groups, seekers in groups of 20, all but khorne grinders work decently. For troops it is either 11, or 20 with herald, strong horrors, and min sized plague bearers or nettes, and 20 strong nettes.
As for solid, but not spectacular, slaanesh furies are decent for what you pay, the skull cannon can do some nasty things to daemon, nids and ork armies, flamers in squads of 3-6 can stiill kill large swaths of enemy troops, and will force them to spread out.
Unfortunately the overlap between the armies is quite low. Fantasy you will want lots of beasts of nurgle, 2 skull cannons, maybe a grinder, a GUO or possibly keeper, and a solid block of plague bearers with BSB. Seekers are good for war machine and chaff hunting, and a couple of min sized horrors for gateway/glean can be useful.

I'm kind of a fan of 20 strong Plaguebearers with Epidemius and herald w/biomancy or with dual heralds.
But then i play mono-nurgle.
Otherwise, as above.

I hear seekers are supposed to be winners in the codex.

There is pretty much no overlap between 40k/Fantasy, mainly because the Fantasy book is nothing but a steaming heap of dysfunctional GAK!
Outside of a few special characters such as the Blue Scribes/Mask/Changeling and a couple of borked units like the useless Burning Chariot or lackluster Hellflayer/Seeker Chariot, most everything has it's use/place in a 40k army.
In Fantasy, you either go Nurgle + Khannons or else run a Slaaneshii Caco-bomb or else don't even bother... Trying to play Tzeentch or Khorne heavy outside of 3 or so staples is simply a lesson in futility... Mono-Tzeentch is especially kicked square in the junk, while Khorne is almost unplayable.
If you want to go Daemons, just build to the 40k army you really like and if you're not going Nurgle heavy, then just ignore Fantasy for now. (especially with High Elves being so damn popular and their auto-win button they can pull out on us...)

This is really useful guys I'm building my first 40K Chaos Daemon army- a mixture of Khorne and Slannesh and I'm still polishing my 1000 point list before I buy more.
Got any suggestions for me to combine these two factions?
(and yes I am aware that they will try to kill each other)
