Subject: Question for Female Bearded Dragon owner (female lizard, that is)

Hey all,
I've got a question concerning my female Beardie, Sheila. She's two years old, and I acquired her preowned, with all her health checks fine. She's not had any contact with a male, but (as the previous owner had toldme she had a history of doing) she's recently laid a clutch of infertile eggs, causing her to go a bit manic in her Viv, toppling decorations and spilling water. I was just wondering, as I haven't heard of it before, whether it's normal for Beardies to lay these clutches and go a bit manic or whether Sheila has some sort of problem.
Sorry to have inconvenienced you,
Blap

1) Yes, these clutches of infertile eggs are entirely normal.
2) Define "manic". It's normal for the females to be more active than usually. But "manic"? What's her viv like? What exactly does she do?

Thanks. I guess not manic, but normally she's quite relaxed and she just becomes a lot more active for a while after, scratching at the glass, toppling decor, etc.

Many species of reptiles lay infertile eggs without the presence of males.
Not sure about Bearded Dragons specifically, but many animals do get a little loopy during the mating season.
