Fast Attack:
3x Baledrakes

Elites:
4x terminators (3x combi-plasma, 3x LC, 1x CF, 1x HF)

Allied

HQ: (expensive but will practically never die)
Sorcerer (Mastery level 4,Force Weapon, Last Memory, Skull of Kerngr, Hand of Darkness, Terminator armor, SoC, MoT, spell familiar, VotLW)- roll on Tzeentch and Biomancy
340 points

Troops:
15x cultists
70 points

Total of 1997 points

Sorcerer will deep strike/ infiltrate (if I get lucky with warlord trait) with terminators- a destructive force with all his powers, multiple ways to ID, ability to destroy any tank, 2+/3++ save, 3+ DTW, EW, and ability to get a mass amount of rolls on the boon table with last memory (ignores cover too)

DP's vector strike and land to demolish whatever needs to die-mainly DoK will land, DoT can fly around casting witchfires because he'll be my warlord until drakes are on the table

Heldrakes do their deal when they get on the board

Cultists will try to start on the board in cover and try to survive (due to reserve rules/depending on ability to infiltrate sorc and terminators) until everything is on the table.

That's a good list. Must you take MoTz on the Level 4? Taking that damn Tzeentch power is... Awful. I know you're doing it for a 2++, but that Sorcerer shouldnt be tanking in the first place.

TBH i'm just trying to get the sorcerer's invulnerable save as low as possible so that's why I'm giving him MoT and SoC. And I personally like the Tzeentch powers. If I get the boon of mutation it will be well worth it, I could buff one of the terminators. I'm even thinking of getting rid of the CF on a terminator for an LC, get rid of 3 cultists, and give the sorc the crucible of lies so he reroll's failed invulnerable saves of 1... I'm trying to make the sorcerer a tank- I'd use a DP but he'd be a few hundred points more kitted out. I'm mainly trying to keep him alive for 18" nova and killing anything first turn in assault

Fair enough. Boon and crucible is a good combo. I just hate to see someone roll up 4 witchfires and only use 1!

very true, I'd only roll once on tzeentch, the minimum needed, the rest on biomancy- i'd be more then happy to get lifeleach as a witchfire
