I'm just starting up Eldar and I know little to nothing about building a list for them. I love the wraith look so I'm going to build a list using what comes in the holiday box that was featured in WD. This is the list I came up with for 2000 points aiming to be competitive

Spiritseer
Wraith Blades x 5 (Ghostaxe)
[Spiritseer goes with this squad to hold home objectives and keeps them protected with primaris power for runes of battle (Shrouded)]

Wraith Guard x 5
D-scythes
Wave Serpent (Holo fields and TL Scatter Lasers)

Wraith Guard x 5
D-scythes
Wave Serpent (Holo fields and TL Scatter Lasers)

Wraith Guard x 5
D-scythes
Wave Serpent (Holo fields and TL Scatter Lasers)

Wraith Knight
Suncannon
Scatter Laser x 1

Wraith Lord
Flamer
Scatter Laser

Wraith Lord
Flamer
Scatter Laser

Crimson Hunter

This is the first Eldar list I have come up with for a 2000 point competitive list. Again I have no idea what I'm doing so C & C would be great!

A spiritseer is a good addition to wraithblades with axes, but conceal is only marginally better than their shields if the unit is in cover. Wraithblades really need to be in full squads, and particularly for the axe wraithblades, you want protect. This will give you 2+/4++ T6 fearless scoring melee units. Invisibility is also good; only take conceal if you absolutely have to. Also try to get renewer to heal your lords/knight.

I doubt you need that many d-scythe guard. Wraithcannons are fantastic guns(and cheaper!) so take at least one unit of wraithguard stock, maybe two.

Wraithlords need 2 guns, be it dual scatter, scatter/star, or dual lance. Wrist flamers of course, and glaives for spare points.

The scatter/suncannon build is ok, but with all the AP2 you currently have I doubt you need it. Dual wraithcannons are the best build and cost the least.

Look into the Iyanden supplement, as it can get you a LOT of spiritseers, an awesome primaris, a wraithknight warlord, and plenty of other cool wraith stuff.

Thanks for the feed back! Really appreciate it. Based on what you've suggested here is what I've slighly changed:

Spiritseer
Wraithblades x 8 (Ghost axe and it is a squad of 8 because of points)

Wraith Guard x 5
Wave Serpent (Holo Fields and TL Scatter Lasers

Wraith Guard x 5
Wave Serpent (Holo Fields and TL Scatter Lasers

Wraith Guard x 5
D-scythes
Wave Serpent (Holo fields and TL Scatter Lasers)

Wraith Knight
Scatter Laser
2 Heavy Wraith Cannons

Wraith Lord
2 Flamers
2 Scatter Lasers

Wraith Lord
2 Flamers
2 Scatter Lasers

Crimson Hunter

How is this now on paper?

Looking a lot better. All you need to do is drop the scatter laser from the knight. Shooting both heavy d cannons is > the scatter laser to twin link a single cannon. Use these points to help get another wraithblade, or make your hunter an exarch.

I have built a similar list, and tend not to have many issue with winning, my differences - I have no lords, but I have 2 stock knights. Stick with stock knights, they really are they way to go. I have 2 squads of 5 wraith scythes and 2 squads of Wraithguard, every squad has a serpent. I have no hunter, but 2 spiritseers. So it's quite similar. Your 5 blades will get eaten as the only foot unit, and there is no need to have them on foot. A spiritseer can only target his own unit, so might as well be in serpent. Plus he can spirit mark from a serpent! Iyanden supplement is a must for this list too. If you want a squad of axes, you need 10 on foot. No point having them in a transport as they cannot disembark and charge.

Trust me- get the supplement, give your seer the wraith forge stone from it, make a wraithknight your warlord, and love the iyanden primarus power!

You sought to cower behind your walls, weakling? Instead, by the will of Khorne, you shall die behind them

Well, Iyanden armies are more themed forces. I doubt that they are very competitive. Irannah might object.
The WG unit to be used to hold the home objective should better have some shooting guns, wraithcannons, instead of cc weapons.

I would make wraith knight your HQ and drop 3 wraith blades from the 8 man unit an buy another spirit seer or far seer (i think it would do more).
