Well, who here enjoys playing against invulnerable armies? Not many people. 2+/2++ Rerollable saves. Ok, its not invulnerable, but capable of ignoring damage 35/36 times. This is just a terrible mechanic, but how do we fix it.

A simple Erratta to the Save section of the BRB.

BRB Pg19

"A rerolled 2+ save is always a failure on a roll of a 1, 2, or 3."

Rerolled 4+ = 3/4 Saved
Rerolled 3+ = 8/9 Saved
Rerolled 2+ = 11/12 Saved vs 35/36 Saved.

It doesn't invalidate any builds, in fact, they would still be incredibly strong and powerful builds but would allow opponents the chance to damage them. I feel this little fix would go along way towards balancing some of the Psychic Deathstars.

Affected Builds, SeerStar, ScreamerStar, MantleSeer/Autarch, Grimiored Tzeentch 2++.

Thoughts?

So it would be your 2+, then a 4+?

Interesting....

Yes, so a Rerollable 2+ save is effectively a 2+ then a 4+.

Still twice as good as a 2+, but not effectively invulnerable.
