I don't know if it was in the spirit of winning as it was of irony, since Mean was bringing comprehension of reading into the discussion and totaly duffed the spelling of "your". In Mean's defense, it's a mistake any of us can and do make, but in this context it was humorous.

Feel free to gak all over this, but how is using drones anyworse than using the conventional weapons we've been using for the past ~100 years? I don't agree with blowing up kids, but mistakes happen and no doubt this isn't the first time kids have been killed.

And again, what you've said doesn't answer what was asked. Why are drones 'especially evil'? Why are some dead kids worse than, say, the invasion of Iraq over trumped up reasons, for example?

But away from the comedy for a second, you don't think it's a little bit comical that the Republicans are making such a massive deal about Obama's lie, when they told so many whoppers of their own?

No, but the decision to prioritise certain polls results while ignoring others is the decision of the writer and the editorial staff. Which is, of course, how punditry passes itself off as journalism. "Oh don't worry about the woeful favourability ratings. Just look at how we lead on economic polling, when we're in opposition during a poo economy. We're gonna be just fine!"

Any time he has blamed Bush over the past couple of terms for openers. Saying his administration was going to be transparent. Using drones for spying on and killing American citizens. Giving the impression before he was elected, he'd have us out of Iraq and Afghanastan, yet still the killings go on with the introduction of drones. Do I really need to go on?.

Well, I don't see any difference in a smart bomb dropped from an F-22 and one dropped from a drone (err fired might be more appropriate), so I yet to see the difference. Dead kids are dead kids.

A fair statement, but Obama was acting all in righteous anger over the war, but has allowed it to drag on in a way he condemned earlier, with all the death it entails. It's also not just about drones dropping bombs, but being employed by this administration to spy on American citizens.

The thing that did the firing was a man (Or woman) sitting in an air-conditioned room.

Spy on people suspected of being criminals or worse. You aren't going to walk outside your door and be blown up.
I'm not saying it's a perfect system or that I respect/support it, but if they can stop something without a law enforcement agent being hurt then I'm down.

Both bother me. The dead kids as you say can happen with bombs from a plane or a drone. The spying from a drone is also bad for most Americans.

Spying can also happen from a remote set of buildings located in a Massachusetts(Now that I think about it it might be Maryland) woods.

It's the dichotomy of the administration's stance regarding the draw-downs of the Iraq/Afganistan Wars, Muslim Brotherhood support, warming to Iran, etc... to the liberal use of the drones.
