Something I just didn't understand about it: Okay so if a BA gets the Black Rage, he is inducted into the Death Company right? Well I thought the Black Rage was an uncontrolable fury that couldn't be stopped. Wouldn't it then be difficult to bring said uncontrollable Astartes back on the ship, repaint their armor, wait until next battle, and then release them, unless the uncontrolable rage dies down after battle, but from what I've read it doesn't seem that way.

(Also, if the BA want the flaw to be kept secret, isn't painting part of your marines black with red crosses and standing waaaaay far away from them going to draw attention? lol Also the fact that they are the ones who get sent into suicidal missions and NEVER survive!)

EDIT: Isn't the difference between the Red Thirst and Black Rage is that the Red Thirs (aka slurppee craving) is somewhat controlable and is the more prelevant flaw, which usually leads to the Black Rage?

Maybe Chaos Daemons are so angry all the time because despite their near infinite intelligence they can't seem to forge anything more complex than a sword, an axe, or a staff

The Red Thirst is the angry/bloodthirsty part.

The Black Rage on the other hand, is complicated. The marine thinks he is Sanguinius fighting during the Battle of Terra.

Correct, the Red Thirst is a bloodthirst that all Blood Angels feel to some extent during battle. A Blood Angel can eventually fall completely to the Red Thirst, but most often it abates as the battle ends. The Black Rage is a psychic affliction that gives little to no warning before taking hold of a marine. The advantage of the Black Rage is that the curse manipulates the marine's senses to fit with the illusion of being Sanguinius during the Battle of Terra. So marines that have fallen to the Black Rage can still tell friend from foe, even if they no longer recognize the individual marines around them.
