So, I'v been trying to build up a Dark Elf army and it seems like they dont have any Battalion, Just this large and expensive Warhost of Naggaroth box and I was curious, Is it worth getting?

If you want a chariot, a fleetmaster, crossbows, corsairs, and knights.

Well, I'm a bit unsure of the Fleetmaster, But you could always run him as a alternative model Dreadlord or Master.. And I checked the pricea bit, You do save a bit on it, Even if you dident use the Fleetmaster at all you would save a bit.. You save 290 SEK on the box, And the Fleetmaster costs 140 SEK.. And I do like the models.. So far I only own 1 box of Bleakswords and dont know what to build for a army yet..

The core choices are somewhat useful, though Witch Elves seem to be the new hotness. The Fleetmaster is decidedly meh as well.

You're saving, for sure, so I'd say yes.

Some people play to win, some people play for fun. Me? I play to kill toy soldiers.

You can always just use the Fleetmaster as a fancier unit champion for the Corsairs.

Get it from an online discounter and you save considerably more. Get it from GW and you're still saving though.

I plan to pick one up.

One of them filthy casuals...

It depends if you know you're going to use the stuff. Sure you save on it all individually. But if you know you're not using crossbows, corsairs and a chariot, you're not saving at all.

Decide on a list first, and then you'll know if it's a good purchase.

Short answer? Yes.
Long answer?
You get 20 Warriors(multiple options and magnetizable with a bit of tricksiness), 20 Corsairs, 5 Cold One Knights, a Chariot(which can be a Lord choice in the form of a High Beastmaster), and a Hero choice(Fleetmaster).

See my previous answer, though I'd like to add that it's a good starting point. Just not good for a way to boost an army.

Which is actually something I'm pleased with. Battalions/Battleforces have been so hit or miss that it's nice to see an actual starter.
