They don't have to be an official chapter; use a set of rules appropriate for a cc oriented chapter and paint them however you want

GWS have some new sprays , like mephiston red and abbadon black , it is a very easy way of starting painting a new army with that , you can get something like blood angels or black templars , or create a chapter for your self.

I gotta agree. What I did with my chaos was design my own color scheme and storyline. I then used whatever "marine" type codex I liked or wanted to try out. Doing it again now years later with a much higher quality of painting skill. The only thing it doesn't allow is special units like wolves or blood angel death company. In which case you could buy them separate at a later date to trade in or out depending upon which "codex" you are using for that particular game.

You probably want the Carcharodons (aka space sharks). Simple grey paint job. You can just prime grey, pick out a couple details, and ink wash and it will look table top.

They even have a chapter tactic free from forgeworld!

Minotaurs and astral claws can also get pretty CC oriented.

Yeah Carcharodons would be my suggestion.

Other than paint scheme your CC oriented chapters are:
Grey Knights
Blood Angels
Space Wolves
Ravenguard
Black Templar
There are others but these stick out to me.

Flesh tearer's are nice too. There just SO crazy! Or if you really wanted to walk the tightrope of heresy, knights of Blood.

Just an FYI those base spray paints are not offered in Canada because GW did not want to put on bilingual labels witch is required by Canadian law.

I second Flesh Tearers. Very combat-orientated, simple paint job of pretty much red, a named IC dude who looks funky (I like his model, too) and access to some nice Blood Angels only gadgets eg Furioso Dread.

I'd go Black Templars. Any BA related army has to use the disastrous 5th ed codex. Just save yourself a lot of pain.
