Hi! After a 10 year hiatus I'm gonna play agian and I had this list in my head for a while now. I have 2 armies and I wanted to use them both.

So here's my list (might have alot of mistakes).

- Is it any good and is it possible?
- What should change?
- Total garbage, you should remake the whole list?


HQ- Canoness, rosarius

HQ- 4 Ministorum priest, plasmagun

TR- 9 Sisters of battle, flamer, H-flamer, combiflamer, rhino

TR- 9 Sisters of battle, flamer, H-flamer, combiflamer, rhino

FA- 5 Dominion Squad, 4 melta, combi melta, Immolator Multi-melta

FA- 5 Dominion Squad, 4 melta, combi melta, Immolator Multi-melta

HS- Exorcist

Space wolves Alies

HQ- Rune Priest, combi flamer, Jaws, living lighting, meltabomb

HQ- Rune Priest, combi flamer, Jaws, Storm caller, meltabomb

EL- 3 Wolf guard, 3x thunderhammer stormshield

TR- 8 Greyhunters, flamer, drop pod with deathwind launcher

TR- 8 Greyhunters, flamer, drop pod with deathwind launcher

HS- 6 Long fangs, 5 misslelaunchers

A whole lot of excesse points in the Wolves list after a pretty clean and straight forwards Sisters list...

So, Sisters are perfect, maybe give the Canoness a condemnor bolter, just for the cheese.

For the wolves, the basic setup is ok, just a lot of unneccesary points.
For example: you won't need the combi flamer and meltabombs on the Rune Priest.
Also, the Rune Priests have to have different gear AND different psy powers, so different psy is not enough.

For the Wolf Guard, you only need 2 Power Fists and 2 Storm Shields for the guys attaching to Grey Hunters, the Long Fang one is just ablative wounds.

Deathwind launcher cannot be used on the turn the pod arrives, and after that 12" range is not much for the points.

What I would add:
3rd Drop Pod for the Long Fang squad, coming in empty on turn 2 or later, just so both Grey Hunter squads arrive on turn 1.
Aegis Defense Line with Icarus for flyer hunting (with the Canoness), and giving cover for the Exorcists and the Long Fangs. And the Canoness, who is your warlord.
(if I counted good, you have the points for both if you drop all the bling from the wolves)

Thanks, I mixed it up abit more. I forgot a squad for the canoness, so I gave her a command squad.

Questions:
- Is it smart to join priests to your dominion squad? Because there is a big chance that the squad will be wiped the turn after they come in.
- Is it really important to have that 3th pod for turn1 drop? I can understand because it's more powerfull to have 2 greyhunter packs on turn1, but it's kind of wierd to buy a empty pod. (maybe drop a runeP and get cheap scout squad in droppod?)
- What are the weakpoints of this list? And what should I watchout for?

Think 30 points more then 2000, so need to shave of some point somewhere (ideas? Plasmaguns on priests?)

IMHO you need both GH squads on the table at the same time. If only one comes in, your opponent can focus fire it. And they don't have enough of a punch to thin out his forces.
Always take an odd number of drop pods, so more come in on the first turn.

If you go first, you will have 5 Heavy Bolters, 5 ML with split fire, the Icarus, 2 Exorcists and 2 Rune Priests with 2 GH squads on his neck. That's quite a lot of shooting.

If he goes first, he has to decide which of your long range units to shoot. Most likely he will go for the rhinos for first blood. :(

Unless something goes terribly wrong, when your Dominion squad comes in your opponent will still have some other targets to shoot at, like the 2 GH squad and the long range weapons.

Beware of: mass of high strength shooting (broadsides, wave serpent), plasma (plasma vets, tau suits), AP3 templates.

If your enemy brings more fliers, consider joining one of the Rune Priests to the Long Fangs, and giving him Divination.
